ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

The Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference exposes regional pre-pharmacy students to the growing field of pharmacy, creates unique learning and networking opportunities, and enhances educational and career potential. We aim to accomplish this through a series of interactive activities that both expands on the framework of pharmacy and connects students with professional innovators and relevant current issues.

Our conference allows undergraduates to explore the field of pharmacy and is held at the University of Michigan each year. Our unique conference is hosted and planned entirely by a team of undergraduates dedicated to our mission. Learn more about them below!

Co-head Coordinator

Vicki Lin

Vicki Lin is a junior at the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference team in 2023 as the co-chair and networking chair. She has also worked on the GLPC team as a member of the networking committee from 2022-2023. Nour Madani

Nour is a senior at the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference team in 2021 as a publicity committee member. In 2022, she transitioned to her role as Publicity Chair. Nour has enjoyed her time being a part of GLPC's mission to getting students excited and exposed to the many facets of the field of pharmacy . Please let me know if you have any questions!

Julie Tieu

Julie Tieu is a junior at the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Publicity Chair

Cydnee Wilson

Cydnee Wilson is a current junior at the University of Michigan pursuing a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the Great Lakes Pharmacy conference team in 2022 as a publicity committee member before transitioning to her role as the Publicity Chair. She manages student outreach, maintains our website, and organizes ticket registration and other logistics. Cydnee has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to teach and enspire pharmacy through her involvement in GLPC, and hopes that GLPC continues to grow each year. Christina Nguyen

Christina Nguyen is a senior at the University of Michigan pursuing a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference team in 2022 as a general planning committee member. Pearl Evans

Pearl Evans is a sophomore at the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference team in 2023 as a planning and publicity committee member. In 2024, she transitioned into her role as Networking Chair.
